Cameratel Privacy Policy

Developer: GO RICH MARKETING LLC (United Arab Emirates). This policy covers the Cameratel app for iPhone and Android and this website.

Summary

Cameratel itself collects no personal or technical data and sends nothing about you or your device to us. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics of our own and no tracking. Your videos, audio, scripts and face tracking stay on your device unless you choose to share a video. Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store, or by Google Play. Two things can involve another company: Voice Follow, which uses your phone's built-in speech recognition, and the Google MediaPipe face tracking library, which sends Google anonymous statistics about its own performance (see below).

Camera and microphone

The app uses the camera and microphone only to show the live preview and to record the videos you choose to record. Recordings are saved in the app on your device and, if you choose, in your photo library. Cameratel never uploads them; a video leaves your device only when you share it yourself, through the app you pick.

Face and eye tracking

Eye Contact AI and the gaze coach detect face and eye landmarks in the camera frames, and Enhance eyes detects them in a recorded video, using on-device machine learning (Apple Vision and Google MediaPipe on iPhone, Google MediaPipe on Android). These landmarks are used only to adjust the eyes in your video and to show the gaze indicator. Enhance eyes keeps the eye positions it measures in a video only in the app's own storage on your device. Face data is never sent off the device, never used for identification and never shared with anyone.

Face tracking library (Google MediaPipe)

Cameratel uses Google's MediaPipe library on your device to find face and eye landmarks (on iPhone and Android) and to separate you from the background (on Android). All camera processing stays on your device. Whenever MediaPipe runs, the library itself sends Google anonymous performance and usage statistics about its own operation, such as which MediaPipe feature ran, how long it took and whether errors occurred, with basic technical details such as the app version, iOS or Android version and device model. It never sends images, video, audio, face data or personal identifiers. Cameratel never receives this information; it is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you. Google handles it under its MediaPipe privacy notice.

Speech recognition

Voice Follow uses the speech recognition built into your phone to follow your voice through the script:

• iPhone — Apple's speech recognition. When your iPhone supports on-device recognition for the chosen language, the audio is processed on the device; otherwise Apple's speech service may process it on Apple's servers under Apple's privacy policy.
• Android — the speech recognition service on your device (for example, Google's). Depending on your device and language, it may process the audio on the device or on its provider's servers under the provider's privacy policy.

Cameratel uses the recognized words only to scroll the script and time the captions; it does not store or send transcripts. Voice Follow is optional, and the other scroll modes do not use speech recognition.

Photo library and background photos

The app only adds videos to your photo library when automatic saving is on or when you tap "Save to Photos". It does not read your existing photos. If you choose a photo as your video background, the system photo picker gives the app only that photo; Cameratel keeps a copy in its own storage on your device so it can be reused, and never uploads it.

Purchases

Cameratel Pro subscriptions are bought, billed and managed by Apple through the App Store, or by Google Play. Cameratel never sees your payment details, name or Apple / Google account. The app asks the store whether your subscription is active and keeps the answer on your device. With each purchase the app passes the store an anonymous identifier for this installation; it is not connected to your name or account. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools. Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for a limited period to keep the site secure and working. We do not use them to identify visitors.

Children

Cameratel is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.

Your choices and deleting data

Because your recordings, scripts and settings are stored only on your device, you control them: delete takes and scripts in the app, or uninstall Cameratel to remove everything the app stored. Videos you saved to your photo library stay there until you delete them.

Changes and contact
